Franz Danksagmüller, professor of organ music at the Lübeck Academy of Music and composer, has attracted international attention with large-scale live electronic concerts. This concert is the first chance to hear the modern technology of the Music Centre’s organ combined with computer technology. The concert will be the premiere of Mauricio Silva Orendain’s organ work Ilmasta Puu, which was awarded in the International Kaija Saariaho Organ Composition Competition, as well as the first time when Danksagmüller’s works will be heard in Finland.
